My favorite chinese songs: 年少有为

This week, I have another chinese song in my list that I want to show you. That is ‘If I Were Young’ or 年少有为 (Nian Shao You Wei), song by Rong Hao Li or 李荣浩. This popular song in 2018. It was guaranteed by one of 10 Hits on billboard radio in China 2018 and it has 60 millions on Youtube.

The chinese words 年少 mean youthfulness and 有为 means ‘hope or success’. Thus, the word ‘年少有为’ is also mean ‘the person who succeed since he was young’. I has known this song from Wang Yibo (王一博），I Chinese actor from ‘The untamed web series’ which I am addicted to. He said this song is his favourite song, then he sang this song for his fans. I am interested in this song and want to listen this original song because I really like it. This song is catchy and has a nice meaning.

This song is talked about the guy destroyed his own love and several years later, he grew up and realized that he should not do that. Unfortunately, It is too late to reunion because his ex-girlfriend already has new love. My favorite part is in the chorus part:

‘If I was promising in my youth, I wouldn’t feel interior

Those beautiful dreams,that I did not give you, I regret for a lifetime’

This part shows the guy felt shame that if he knew who is the important one in that time, he would not destroy his love mistakenly. When I know the meaning of this song, it is a good one of my favourite songs. Furthermore, I still has many songs in my list and I will show you another one next times
